MOZART® (Manufacturing Operations Zone by Abstract Real Time) is a development and operations environment under VMS (Virtual Manufacturing System) concept.
It is a development tool which enables users to customize their own planning and scheduling system effectively on the basis of pre-built application library.
It also helps users to operate the constructed system efficiently through project management, deploy management, and task management modules.
MOZART is originated from the experiences and practices of the SeePlan® which has been successfully implemented in Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, SK Hynix, LG Display and Hankook Tire.
The applications have played a key role in production planning and scheduling through the executable plans and transparency to due dates.
It is reported that the plan keeps the level of accuracy by more than 95 percent and reduces the cycle time by 20 to 30 percent and work in progress.
MOZART is an integrated development and operations solution which can implement production planning and scheduling application with a virtual model created by abstraction of real manufacturing factory.
MOZART suite covers the entire planning and scheduling process from the reception of customer demands to the execution stage on the shop floor. Planning level applications include MP (Master Planning), FP (Factory Planning) and RTF (Return To Forecast) while execution level applications include APS (Advanced Planning & Scheduling) and LSE (Loading Simulation Engine).

MOZART is an official name of the solution suite that enables users to construct production planning and scheduling application in high tech industries such as semi-conductor and display panel manufacturing.
It consists of core engines along with pre-built libraries for application construction and IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for user customization and SOE (Service Operations Environment) for efficient system management.
MOZART provides specialized pre-built libraries according to manufacturing industries and applications. Its configuration tool helps users construct their own system by choosing models, features and rules to meet their needs with great ease.
MOZART IDE (Integrated Development Environment) helps the user to customize the pre-built model to satisfy their needs.
The user may modify or add new data model and business rules. Its user-friendly components including object-oriented design and debugging functionality facilitate easy and rapid development.
MOZART has two core engines: simulation engine and optimization engine.
The backward and forward planning engines built on top of the core engines are applicable for lot pegging and loading simulation respectively.
MOZART MMC (Mozart Management Console) consists of project manager which manages development documents and schedule, deploy manager which takes charge of version control, and task manager which monitors the task operation status.
